Rotoroa is a stunningly unique and privately owned island in the Hauraki Gulf with rare native New Zealand bird life such as kiwi, takahe, tieke (saddleback) and pateke. This tour is for you if you like the sound of a personalised tour of this island where we will share a picnic lunch on a quiet sandy beach and take in the beautiful views around Auckland's Hauraki gulf. Travelling back to Auckland we finish the day off with a cocktail at the one of Auckland's waterfront establishments. NZ Winter operation days - Wed to Sun. NZ Summer operation days - Mon - Sun. This tour is rated at Walking Pace 1 and can accessed by most people on flat ground with access to bathrooms and facilities. There are optional tracks to the secluded beaches with elevation and views that require a small climb for 10-20 minutes that are rated at a Walking Pace 2.

The ferry back through the Hauraki Gulf to Auckland.

Finish the day off with cocktails at Auckland's Viaduct Harbour.
