Travelling north we explore stunning limestone caves featuring New Zealand's famous glow worms. This tour is a little off the beaten track but worth the effort. Heading out to the east coast we enjoy lunch at one of our amazing white sand beaches. Plenty of time here to take all the beauty in and live in the moment. This tour has a Walking Pace of 2 due to an approximately 10m incline into the caves. The caves have a wide and high walkable entry and we only travel in by approximately 50m. The track typically has ankle high water on a stony river bed and is safe to enter. Otherwise this tour it is all a Walking Pace 1. Bathrooms and facilities are easily accessible. Note - We do enter the caves for safely reasons if there has been heavy rain fall or heavy rain fall is forecast.
