We explore how these volcanic mountains (Maunga puia) have shaped Auckland, its people and its history. Fantastic views of Auckland from around the city with plenty of time to take it all in. This tour includes morning, afternoon tea and a picnic lunch on one of our quiet city beaches. This tour is rated at Walking Pace 1 and can accessed by most people including bathrooms and other facilities. To climb to the top of the volcanic mountains (beyond the carpark) takes an additional 10 to 20mins and is rated at a Walking Pace 3.
